"I'm your private dancer...."

High Tension was pretty good. I wish I hadn't seen the spoiler giving away the twist but I still enjoyed it.

We went bowling at Acme Bowl after Kirby got off work. It was pretty fun! I'm not a terribly good bowler and alcohol doesn't exactly improve my game. But I still had fun. The music was mostly cool and the place really seemed to wind down once it went to 21 and over. I'm almost thinking that the next time we go, we should go a little later or just eat dinner without worrying about getting a lane soon.

My legs do hurt and I expect that my arm will be sore in the morning.

We totally made friends with our waiter. You know, I seem to have good taste in friends in that we always make friends with the wait staff and have fun with them.

We dropped Chrysoula and Kevin at home and then went home. It didn't look good. No lights at our intersection. I went to my car (covered in ice) and brought my flashlights in. Yay! Flashlights. kirbyk turned on the gas fireplace so we could be warm. We wandered around the house a little bit.

And then... the lights came on! Almost exactly 24 hours after they went off. Woohoo! Power!
